Blog traffic rebounded in August, posting better numbers than June or July but not back to the levels before that.
I’m still working on “Thirty Five Years Late” (I know, I keep saying that), getting closer to the finish line. Hopefully September.
After a reset in the process of distribution of books from Streetlib into Google Play Books, ten of my non-taboo erotica books are again available there. (Did anyone even notice they went away?)
The purchase links on my WordPress site’s pages have been updated.
Here’s a link to my author page at Google, rather than listing the ten books individually:

I’ve heard a number of authors touting Pinterest as another site to use for promoting books, so I figured I would take the time to set up an account and pin all of my books. I’ll get around to pinning my “MyReads” books, too, as well as whatever other pins I might want to make.

Another month-over-month drop, but still above 2018 levels. I am hoping this is just summer doldrums. I do need to get another release finished, though. Making progress on “Thirty Five Years Late”.
He’s ten years her junior, a bad boy bodybuilder, too wild to be tamed. He knows she deserves more than the likes of him. Nonetheless, she is the object of his fascination.
She’s a divorced mother craving to be seduced by her brawny neighbour. She’s lonely but has too much baggage to consider acting on her infatuation. He’s worthy of an uninhibited, younger woman with a supreme body and a fierce sexual drive, none of which describes her.
One steamy summer afternoon has them unable to deny their sexual hunger. While he’s enlightening her about his savage sexual nature, she’s teaching him that connecting on a deeper level can be more rewarding than anything he’s experienced.
It seems too easy but not everyone is thrilled these opposites connected. They will not be pushed aside, ruthlessly taking their revenge with a pound of flesh. Can the two survive this love story or will their connection end in disaster?

In the not-so-distant future, working at N.A.S.A. has its perks. For Ruby, who isn’t an astronaut nor does she have any aspirations to be, the biggest perk is meeting Sebastian.
The minute their eyes meet, Ruby feels herself attracted to the man–who is a man and yet so much more–before they even exchange hellos. It’s Sebastian’s alien, lavender-colored eyes that draw her in, and their relationship burns so fast and hot, they’re bonded before she even knows what’s happening.
When Ruby sees Sebastian with a very tall, pretty blonde, she suddenly feels just how deeply their bond goes. The pain is so unbearable, she begins wishing she could be taken back to a time and place when the idea of life on other planets was just a dream–when the invention of hypersleep and traveling at the speed of light were nothing but ideas in the minds of fiction writers.
Is she ready to be the human mate of an alien being? Does she have a choice anymore? Conflicted Ruby wallows in her pain until an unlikely someone intervenes–and Ruby comes to fully understand just how unbreakable her bond with Sebastian really is.

My Review:
As an erotica short, this is intense, fast moving and a satisfying read. The science fiction elements are barely a gloss over the minimal plot, but it doesn’t matter since the sex doesn’t rely on it.
However, I’ll caution potential readers that this story is quite short and the ebook content is padded with enough promotional material before and after that the actual story is only 50% of the ebook’s length (on my Nook app, 20 pages of 41). I’ll leave it to the reader to decide whether that story length is still worth the $2.99 price or if they should look for it to be on sale (it’s on sale at Smashwords for FREE as I write this review, during their July sale).
Yeah, baby! I like blog milestones, don’t you?
I’m sure there are those who will think, “That’s all?” but I never imagined I’d have even this much attention as a writer when I started. So let me pat myself on the back a little bit and set sights on the next goal.
I only blogged twice and only had one new release this month and it shows in the stats, which dropped almost back to January’s numbers. I was much more active on Facebook and Goodreads.
A burst of sales on the last two days of the month made this my best month ever at Amazon and my second best at Smashwords, second only to my first full month on the site, when I was releasing all of the stories that I had already written in 2016 at Literotica. Combined, the royalties at Amazon+Smashwords made this my best sales month ever.
The Smashwords Summer Sale starts July 1, so I hope to build upon the sales success and get another book published to Amazon and widely. Maybe surpass that record?
