Late posting of this, again, Sorry. Slight decline from March’s numbers, but that still places April above any other month in the site’s stats. Just one sale from the shop all month, though.

Measured in terms of hits to the site, this was a HUGE jump for March, 70% above February’s numbers and an all-new high (at least among the stats since launching the leenyspress.com domain)!
Now, if only sales would match that activity…
Yeah, I know I’m kinda late in reporting this. Life’s been a bit chaotic lately.
The good news is that blog traffic rose again, to the second-highest level in the last 12 months, exceeded only by July 2022. No new releases during the month, as I’m still working on Book 8 of the current series, currently titled “Homecummings.” Trying to figure out whether this is the ending of the series or not, etc. Hopefully I get it straightened out soon.
Overdue, of course. January’s hits rose over December’s, but not back to October’s level. I need to get my work-in-progress finished so I can publish it.
Let’s see if Musk broke WordPress’ ability to post to Twitter….
Blog hits for December were higher than November, but not higher than October’s. 2022’s total hits were also slightly lower than 2021’s. Let’s see if 2023 continues that trend…
Hits to the site dropped in November, compared to both October and September. That is all.
Good news: Hits to the site grew above September’s and are also higher than October 2021.
Bad news, though: Sales on Amazon and on my own store here have both produced goose eggs for sales this month (unless something happens in the next few hours) and Smashwords sales are down from previous months.
Hits to the site were up about 10% compared to August, but still below the numbers for June and July. Just meh.
Yes, I know I’m typing this up before the month is officially over, but I don’t think a few more hours are going to alter the outcome all that much. November’s hits to the site are well above October and are also the best the site has done since January 2021. The hit count had already exceeded October even before I published three new books at the end of the month, so that’s not the primary cause, either. We’ll see how much they impact December’s numbers.
[Final November number was 796 hits, October was 597, an increase of 199 — exactly a third. While the posts related to releasing the new books only contributed 45.]
A little delayed, but here is the latest monthly status…
October recovered most of the dip from September’s drop, where it did not do so in 2020, so that’s good. It would probably have been better if I had not lost Internet access towards the end of the month. This little thing about the bill not getting paid… (you can always help me in restoring it by buying my books, naturally!) The automated posts I had set up let me take a few days off of social media, but I’m not going to my local Starbucks to use their WiFi on a regular basis. I swear they’ve removed all of the comfortable chairs they used to have. Anyway, let’s hope November proves to be better still.
